Main responsibilities:

  • Work with the development team and provide a highly available platform for M-STAT services.
  • Conduct scheduled security reviews and audits that ensure the high level of security required by M-STAT customers.
  • Deploy and manage Linux servers that support M-STAT’s core business.
  • Optimize performance and enchance reliability of M-STAT’s platform.
  • Automate and monitor backups and other scheduled tasks.
  • Support M-STAT’s staff with day to day operations.
  • On demand scripting and operations on M-STAT systems.
  • Setup and maintenance of Windows workstations and software.

Must-have skills:

 

  • Minimum 2 years experience in administration of Linux systems.
  • Strong Linux CLI experience.
  • Linux KVM experience.
  • Windows Workstation/Server experience.
  • Strong focus on information security.
  • Love for open source ecosystem.
  • Excellent use of the English language.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).
  • Result oriented and can-do attitude.

Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with Cisco firewalls and routers.
  • MySQL administration.
  • Apache httpd administration.
  • Experience in version control systems (Git).
