Movida Corona is a unique opportunity for aspiring DJs to launch their career with some of the most important DJs in the world. It is one of the biggest DJ competitions in Europe with regional events held all over Europe. Winners at the regional events are chosen by three judges, including professional DJs, and the audience.

Movida Corona held three regional events in Greece and approached M-STAT to support the technical side of the voting procedure. At each event, they wanted to open voting by SMS for the audience while each DJ played and then close it once the session was over. They also needed the ability to add

the weighted scores from the official judges to the votes from the audience.

M-STAT was thrilled to participate in an exciting, unique project with Movida Corona. A custom platform was built to calculate the scores, activate and deactivate the voting for each DJ and monitor the process. Specific 5-digit premium numbers, provided by M-STAT, were used for the audience to vote for their favorite DJ during the event. The end user was charged by their mobile carrier for each SMS sent to the 5-digit premium numbers.
