M-STAT announced its participation and acceptance in the digital aid program, Digi-Mobile. Digi-mobile is a program launched by the Special Secretariat for Digital Planning of the Ministry of Regional Development and Competitiveness and Digital Aid S.A. The program aims to boost development of innovative applications for smartphones and tablets in the Greek market.
Specifically, the program seeks to support Greek small businesses’ ability to gain access to new target groups by offering innovative digital opportunities and high value-added services through smart devices.
Support is granted through the program for companies seeking to develop, acquire and use innovative applications through smart devices in the B2C (Business to Consumer), B2B (Business to Business or B2E (Business to Employee) form.
These services should make use of state-of-the-art technologies and be implemented in at least one smart device operating system (i.e. Nokia Symbian, Google Android, Apple iOS, RIM Blackberry, Windows Phone, Samsung Bada, etc.).
Examples of mobile applications that could be supported through the Digi-mobile program include:
Mobile applications that allow key staff to access operational data
Services to promote products and services to consumers
Applications, services and products using geographical location and destination management services
Virtual tour services
Electronic payment and billing applications
Electronic booking services
